Answers are still being sought in connection with the death of a Greenville teenager.No new developments were announced Monday in the case of Alicia Moore, a Greenville High School student whose body was discovered one week ago in Van Zandt County.
Moore’s father, Roy Perkins Jr., was among those asking for anyone who has information about the death to come forward. Students at the high school are planning to wear earrings Friday in Moore’s memory, while funeral services are reportedly set for Saturday.
The 16 year old Moore was last seen on the afternoon of November 2, getting off of a school bus at the intersection of Bourland and Walnut streets in Greenville, a short distance from her home. Her body was found November 6 along FM 47 in Van Zandt County, and the Greenville Police Department has joined with multiple other agencies in conducting a homicide investigation in the case.
Jessica Bird, Moore’s aunt, said funerals services for Moore are currently scheduled for 11 am Saturday at Ridgecrest Baptist Church in Greenville, and Grace and Mercy Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
