The Hunt Regional Healthcare Emergency Center in Quinlan has opened, giving the southern part of Hunt County an emergency-care facility to go with the Commerce facility in the northern part of the county. Kim Saenz will serve as the director of the Quinlan facility as well as the Commerce facility. She says the new Quinlan emergency center is located at 736 E. Quinlan Parkway (State Highway 276), the road that leads to Lake Tawakoni. The new facility saw 36 patients on its first day of operation, March 1, she says.
