The Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Texas, in Commerce, Greenville and Rockwall, will offer a "Summer Brain Gain" program this summer to prevent learning loss while the children are away from school. In Commerce, the Boys & Girls Club will meet at the A.C. Williams Elementary School and will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday-Friday. Josh Slinkard, director of operations for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Texas, and Dick Latson of Commerce Community Cares are the guests on this edition of the Blacklands Cafe.
