Commerce Mayor Wyman Williams says the City Council honored retiring Hydro Aluminum manager Tom Etzkorn at its meeting this week, making July 17 "Tom Etzkorn Day" in the city. The mayor says Hydroalumnium recently completed a $10 million dollar expansion and has 64 employees. Hydroalumnium recycles and resells scrap aluminum for products such as door frames and car bumpers. The recent expansion will allow the company to produce recycled alumninum for car radiators, the mayor says.
