Commerce 'State Of The City' Program Set For June 4

Commerce Mayor Pro-Tem Gene Lockhart says leaders of the city of Commerce, the Commerce ISD and Texas A&M University-Commerce will gather at 6 p.m., Tuesday, June 4 for a "State of the City" event at City Hall.  The status of various on-going programs will be presented.  Also, Gene says the City Council is planning for a street assessment program that will ascertain the needs of the city's streets.

John Mark Dempsey is the host of the public interest program The Blacklands Café from KETR News. Dempsey is also the play-by-play announcer for Commerce Tigers Football on 88.9 FM and on ketr.org.
