friday morning newscast graphic

The plan next goes before the Fannin County Commissioners Court on Feb. 7.

In Fannin County, plans for development along the future Lake Ralph Hall could come into focus soon. North Texas E-News reports the Lake Ralph Hall Zoning Commission voted unanimously to recommend approval of a zoning plan. The vote occurred at a meeting last night at Fannindel High School in Ladonia. The proposed zoning regulations will next go before the Fannin County Commissioners Court at its Feb. 7 regular meeting. North Texas E-News reports the proposal going before commissioners in February will include provisions for private boat docks. Construction on the reservoir began in 2021 and is expected to be completed in 2026. Lake Ralph Hall is being built along the North Sulphur River valley in southeastern Fannin County, just north of Ladonia.
