This week, Luke visits with Josh Houser and the topic is creating food plots for wildlife on your property. Many folks wait until late summer to begin work on fall and winter food plots but it's a good idea to begin now.
This week, Luke's guest is veteran New Mexico outfitter/guide Harry Wood and the topic is hunting mule deer in New Mexico. Harry has guided many years in NM and offers fully guided hunts and drop camps where hunters hunt on their own and do their on cooking, etc. Mule deer hunting in Texas has become expensive and good ranches are getting harder to find but NM still offers 'over the counter' license for mulies.
Luke's guest this week is Mr. Brett Andrews and the topic is controlling wild hogs. Brett's company, "Texas Raised Hunting Products" (www.texasraisedhuntingproducts.com) has developed a pheromone based wild hog lure along with a unique delivery system that incorporates a wick and canister.
This week, Luke visits with Glenn Guess and talks about calling wild hogs within rifle or bow range. Glenn has done a great deal of study on hogs and developed an app with sounds that duplicate many of the sounds they make. You can watch Glenn's videos on Youtube, just search HOG ZOMBIES.
Luke's guest this week is guide Lance Lutke (www.lancesguideservice.com) and the subject is fishing for paddlefish. Oklahoma fishing regulations allow the harvest of paddlefish and Lance discusses the best methods he uses to regularly catch these good eating fish.
