'Brastalgia' Is 2021 Theme Of Bras For The Cause; Kickoff Event Aug. 26

Pud Kearns with Housewarmers of Greenville, also active with Bras for the Cause, says "Brastalgia" is the theme of this year's event, scheduled for Thursday, October 14 in downtown Greenville.  Artfully decorated bras will celebrate each decade going back to the 1920s. Proceeds will go to improvements for the Tubby Adkisson Mammography coach. A kickoff event will be at 5:30 p.m., Thursday, August 26 at the Emerald Ballroom in downtown Greenville.

Dr. John Mark Dempsey is an associate professor of radio-television at A&M-Commerce, part of the department of Literature and Languages. He works part-time as a news announcer-producer for the Texas State Network in Dallas. Dr. Dempsey was the first student to broadcast on KETR back in 1975 and was also the first person to broadcast Commerce Tigers football on the station (as a student.)
