Commerce Middle School principal Dr. Shenequa Miller is organizing a mentorship program called "Make the Knot" in which local men will mentor Middle School boys.  They will each teach a boy to tie a necktie.  One organizational meeting has already happened, and the next meeting for mentors will be at 5:30 p.m. Thursday (November 8) in the Commerce Middle School library.  The mentors will meet the boys at 2:25 p.m., Wednesday, November 28.

Jefferson Candlelight Tour of Homes, Facebook

John Ballotti, representing the Commerce Community Action Program (C-CAP), says C-CAP is again organizing a bus tour to the historic East Texas city of Jefferson for its holiday Candlelight Tour of Homes on Friday, November 30.  The bus will pick up passengers at the Home Depot in Greenville and the Magnuson Hotel in Commerce.
