250th Semiquincentennial Program - Audie Murphy / American Cotton Museum

Join us at the Audie Murphy/American Cotton Museum on Saturday, March 21st at 11am as we celebrate our Country’s Semiquincentennial with “We Hold These Truths to be Self-Evident:” The History and Legacy of the Declaration of Independence by Dr. Sara Collini. This presentation will talk about the history of the Declaration of Independence in 1776 and consider its revolutionary legacies in American life. Dr. Collini is an Asst. Professor of History at the University of Texas at Arlington where she researches and teaches about early American history, digital history and public history. Admission to the program will be free.
