In Greenville, the W. Walworth Harrison Public Library hosts a free Touch-A-Truck event on Saturday. The Touch-A-Truck event will run from 10 a.m. to noon, Food trucks will also be on-site. You’ll also be able to sign up for the library’s summer reading program, and witness “The Ramazinis Two Person Circus” show starting at 2 p.m.

Heard Summer Camps feature opportunities for children from north Texas and beyond to delve into the wonders of nature on our 289-acre sanctuary, encounter animal ambassadors, investigate nature-themed topics, and more. We’ll spend time both indoors and outside. Studies have shown that spending time outdoors is not only fun for our children, but also plays an important role in many facets of child development. In “Legs, Legs, Legs,” campers will discover the fascinating world of invertebrates. Our campers will dive into the diverse and incredible realm of animals without backbones. We will use engaging activities and hands-on investigations to inspire curiosity and excitement about invertebrates.

The Commerce Public Library will be holding a free Resume Writing workshop on Wednesday, June 4th.It will feature a presentation with resume-writing tips and time to work on your own resume. Admission to the workshop is free and all are welcome. The class will run from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Commerce Public Library , located at 1210 Park Street in Commerce.

Bread of Life Food Pantry distributes free food to those in need. Family and Senior Commodity Boxes available at all distributions. Located at 301 Hwy 224, Commerce, TX. Most boxes consist of canned vegetables, rice, pasta, peanut butter, cereal, juice, and canned meat. We also offer frozen meat, bread and fresh produce when in stock. New clients bring a photo ID and proof of address. For example, current utility bill. Our distribution days are the first Friday after the first Wednesday 10:00am – 2:00pm for seniors 60 plus, and everyone younger from 12:00pm – 2:00pm and on the 3rd Wed of the month from 5:00pm – 8:00pm. We also offer Emergency Boxes to families who can’t wait for a distribution day. Volunteers and donations are always welcome. Thank you. The Audie Murphy American Cotton Museum in Greenville is holding a Murder Mystery Fundraiser on Saturday. In this live action game, you’ll be able to hunt for clues around the museum to solve the mystery. Starting at 7 p.m. Saturday evening at the Audie Murphy American Cotton Museum, located at 600 I-30 Frontage Road in Greenville. Tickets must be purchased at the Museum or over the phone.

The Hunt County Regional Foundation’s 20th Annual “Music the the Best Medicine” Gala kicks off on Friday. The fundraiser will feature live music, food, live and silent auctions, and more.
Two of the finalists from this year’s The Voice of Hunt County vocal competition, Kaylynn Backus and Jerwinn Land, will perform at the event.
The event's theme will be “A Night on the Red Carpet,” with vintage Hollywood attire and decor.
In addition to the live music, other activities will include a live auction, with items such as a week for two in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, four Dallas Mavericks tickets, and more.
The silent auction starts at 6:30 p.m. with dinner beginning at 7 p.m. It's all happening at Innovation First International, located at 6725 West FM 1570 in Greenville.

This family-friendly event promises an evening and night filled with exploration, discovery, and fun activities for all ages.
