Royse City's Animal Control and Shelter is excited to announce that the 2nd Annual Paw-Looza Carnival is teaming up with the 18th Annual Car Show! It's all happening Saturday, May 9!
Join us Saturday, May 9th from 9:00 AM–2:30 PM at Royse City High School Stadium (650 FM 2642, Royse City, TX) for a day packed with fun!

Happening Saturday, May 9th, it's Royse City's 18th Annual Car, Bike, and Truck Show!
The event will also include the Pawlooza (including Pet adoptions and pet-related vendors), raffles, retail vendors, food trucks, kids activities and much more. A Live DJ will also be on site!
Gates open at 7 a.m., Registration will be from 8 to 11 a.m., with the Opening Ceremony kicking things off at 10 a.m.
Entry is free and open to the general public. Pre-registration for the car show is $20, day-of registration is $25 (link below).

The 2026 Catfish Festival happening Saturday, May 9!
Celebrations will include a catfish cook-off, Kid's Fishing, Carnival Rides, a family zone, vendors, food trucks, and more.
The City Manager - through the Police Department - is hosting a Prom for our Special Needs, Teen Community, ages 14 to 20, on May 9th from 6pm to 9pm. Mayor Mihir Pankaj has graciously provided the use of his Home-2 Suites Banquet Room to hold the prom. The dress attire is ranges from Formal to Casual and includes costumes (Disney - Superhero or Celebrity) for those who want to compete in the costume contest. Door prizes will be awarded and photos taken of each student after they are escorted down the red carpet into the venue. Attendees can RSVP through their respective school administration or through the email link on the flyer below. Food and drinks will be provided.

We are excited to once again host our annual Fly-in! This year, it is the Armed Forces Day Fly-In and Historic Aircraft Show! Come out and experience aviation history up close by exploring a collection of legendary warbirds, classic aircraft, and historic airplanes, which will be on display. Some of the aircrafts will be available for rides, as well! We've also partnered with the Commemorative Air Force to bring these planes, as well as the "Rise Above" Mobile Theater!
