Thanksgiving may be behind us, but gratefulness is no less meaningful in our daily lives. Our wellness commentator, Velvete Womack, the owner of the Fire and Ice Spa in Commerce, reflects on a recent University of California-San Diego study that showed that gratefulness improved the condition of people with heart problems in their 60s, not only their heart health, but in general ways such as better sleep and a reduction of stress.
