Lori Cope, director of CASA (the Court-Appointed Special Advocates) of Hunt County says the organization has scheduled a "Fairy Dust Princess Ball" for 10 a.m. Saturday, January 27 at the Fletcher Warren Civic Center on Highway 69 South in Greenville. It's a fund raiser for CASA, which represents the interests of children in foster care in legal proceedings. CASA is seeking new volunteers, and a training session begins Monday, January 29. The deadline to apply is Monday, January 22.
