First Time: Lion Men & Women Both In NCAA Tourney

Tim McMurray, Texas A&M-Commerce athletic director, says for the first time both the Lion men's and women's basketball teams are in the NCAA Division 2 tournament.  The Lion men will play Dallas Baptist in the regional tournament at West Texas A&M Thursday or Friday.  The Lion women, in the tournament for the first time since 2006-07 when they made the Elite Eight, will be at Grand Junction, Colo., and play Colorado Mesa at 7 p.m. Friday.  The games will be broadcast on KETR.
