Join us for a relaxing art night making self-care jars! We will be filling jars with self-care ideas and practices for when we need to slow down, take a break, and make sure we are caring for ourselves! Ages 18+

Join us for an exhilarating evening at the ETAMU- School of Music Wind Ensemble Concert, where precision meets passion in a breathtaking showcase of musical artistry. Our talented ensemble will deliver a powerful program filled with vibrant harmonies, dynamic rhythms, and expressive melodies that will leave you inspired.

Bread of Life Food Pantry distributes free food to those in need. Family and Senior Commodity Boxes available at all distributions. Located at 301 Hwy 224, Commerce, TX. Most boxes consist of canned vegetables, rice, pasta, peanut butter, cereal, juice, and canned meat. We also offer frozen meat, bread and fresh produce when in stock. New clients bring a photo ID and proof of address. For example, current utility bill. Our distribution days are the first Friday after the first Wednesday 10:00am – 2:00pm for seniors 60 plus, and everyone younger from 12:00pm – 2:00pm and on the 3rd Wed of the month from 5:00pm – 8:00pm. We also offer Emergency Boxes to families who can’t wait for a distribution day. Volunteers and donations are always welcome. Thank you. McKinney, Texas, is home to a number of pieces of public art, many of which are located in Historic Downtown. Jump Into Art Studios, in conjunction with Visit McKinney, offers free walking tours of some of the public art pieces in Downtown McKinney, including murals, sculptures, and more. During these walks, you will visit the downtown murals and other pieces of public art as the tour guides tell attendees more about the artists and the story behind the art. All Walking Tours start at the Visitor Center at 200 W. Virginia.
(Please note: If there is a National Weather Service alert during a scheduled tour, it will be canceled. If you want to confirm a tour is still happening, reach out to the Visitors Center at 972-547-2058.)

Cost: Park programs are open to the public and free with a paid park entrance fee of $5 per person ages 13 and up; children 12 and under are always free! Park entry is free with the Texas State Park Pass. No need to register—just show up!
