With undercover foxes, ridiculous villains, broom‑fights, and surprise dance breaks, this play is full of jokes, teamwork, and wild plans that teens and kids will love performing. If you like improv, cosplay, meme‑worthy one‑liners, or just being dramatic with your friends onstage, this show is for you!

Sulphur Springs Senior Citizen Center is hosting free poker games each Tuesday at 11 a.m.

The ETAMU Planetarium has resumed its Wednesday Matinee shows.

This week, the 1 p.m. show will be "Cell! Cell! Cell!", followed by "Dinosaur: Passage to Pangaea" at 2.

Admission is $5 per person, per show. Tickets are sold on site beginning at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday (there are no reservations for matinees).

Artwork due Wednesday, August 5.

Opening Reception is Thursday, come and go from 5-7 pm.

Local artists Jaye & Sandy are teaming up to take over the East Gallery with their artwork, Beyond the Canvas.

SPECIAL BONUS: Local guitarist Alanzo will be here playing his guitar for us all.

Bread of Life Food Pantry distributes free food to those in need. Family and Senior Commodity Boxes available at all distributions. Located at 301 Hwy 224, Commerce, TX. Most boxes consist of canned vegetables, rice, pasta, peanut butter, cereal, juice, and canned meat. We also offer frozen meat, bread and fresh produce when in stock. New clients bring a photo ID and proof of address. For example, current utility bill. Our distribution days are the first Friday after the first Wednesday 10:00am – 2:00pm for seniors 60 plus, and everyone younger from 12:00pm – 2:00pm and on the 3rd Wed of the month from 5:00pm – 8:00pm. We also offer Emergency Boxes to families who can’t wait for a distribution day. Volunteers and donations are always welcome. Thank you. The 7 p.m. show this Friday, Jul 24 is "Dinosaurs: Story of Survival", followed by "To Worlds Beyond: Journey Through the Solar System" at 8 p.m.

The annual Wolfe City Rodeo kicks off on Friday and Saturday.

Riding club events will include Mutton Bustin', Barrel Racing, Bareback Bronc Riding, Bull Riding, Steer Riding, Saddle Bronc Riding, Steer Wrestling, Chariot Bull Riding, Tie-Down Ropin', Team Roping, and much more.

Friday night's events will run until 10 p.m. and Saturday's events will run until midnight. Saturday night will also include live music featuring Jason Walden & The Alibis.

Also: concessions on site, games, and much more.

The Greenville Farmers Market will be open each Saturday through November from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM, with a few vendors opening early at 8:00 AM.
