Join Me for a powerful and inspiring art experience in downtown Paris, Texas.
“The Tomb Is Empty” is a special exhibition featuring 41 original paintings of Jesus Christ, each piece reflecting His love, sacrifice, and the celebration of Easter.

📍 Location: Paris Coffee (Downtown Paris, TX)

📅 Exhibit Dates: The exhibit will be on display from April 6 – April 11, viewing hours are 7 a.m.- 2 p.m.

🎨 Special Event: Come meet the artist and experience creativity in motion!

There will also be a Live Painting + Meet & Greet on April 11th at 11:00 A.M. – 2:00 P.M.!

All artwork will be available for purchase.

This collection is a heartfelt visual journey of faith, hope, and resurrection—created to honor the love of Jesus Christ and the meaning of Easter.

Join Health and Human Performance and our campus partners at the RSC on April 8th for a day dedicated to learning more about our health and how to protect and promote wellness across our lives. Tabling and interactive activities will run 11-2 pm facilitated by a BINGO card that serves are your prize entry raffle ticket. At 12 pm Dr. K will host a lively discussion "No Shame, Just Game" and at 1 pm we have"Yoga w/ Lauren", both on a first-come first served basis. Callie Clinic and DCHHS will be on-site 10am - 3 pm for FREE HIV testing. We look forward to seeing you

The Thursday Literary Society is moving their meetings to the Creative Arts Center in 2026.
The group meets on the Second Thursday of each month at 2:00 pm.
All are welcome.

Participants are strongly encouraged to read or listen to the book before the meeting. However, even if you do not read the book, you are still welcome and encouraged to attend.

Join the Department of Literature & Languages as we host an exciting guest lecture. Dr. Ecevit Bekler, of Dicle University in Turkey, will join us on April 9th at 2:00pm to present his lecture, "Postcolonial and Psychological Readings of Heart of Darkness and Things Fall Apart, and Cultural Materialist Criticism of Wide Sargasso Sea." The lecture will be held in Rayburn Student Center Ambitions A. We hope to see you there!

Adults- Join us next Thursday, April 9th, at 6:30 pm for a fun spring craft! We will be painting flower pots. This is completely free and all supplies will be provided, so come by and make something pretty for your garden, windowsill, counter, or wherever you're wanting a little extra life this season!
