'The Force Awakens' Is Worthy Of The Hype

The Walt Disney Company

This week on Movie Picks with Alice Reese, Alice reviews Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Sisters, and The Danish Girl.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens:

Alice really enjoyed this new beginning for the Star Wars franchise, and is already pumped for the sequel. The story takes place 30 years after the events of Return of the Jedi. Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill reprise their original roles, and are joined by new characters played by Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, and Adam Driver.

Sisters:

Alice thinks this movie might be the best female comedy since Bridesmaids. It stars Tina Fey and Amy Poehler as sisters Kate and Maura. The cast is fabulous, and all the funny people involved have never been funnier, according to Alice.

The Danish Girl:

Eddie Redmayne and Alicia Vikander star in this movie that follows the story of two artists, a husband and wife pair, whose lives are changed when he discovers he's more comfortable as a female named Lily. Alice recommends this movie highly.
