The City will host an Easter Egg Hunt on April 4 and it's for everyone to join! The egg hunts will have several different age groups and even the Easter Bunny will be there to take photos with the kiddos! It will start 10 AM in Centennial Park.If there is any inclement weather, we will make an announcement by 8 AM on the day of the event if we have to cancel.
🐰 Over 26,000 Easter eggs will be stuffed by the American Legion Anderson Roberts Post 283! Can you believe it?!
Local businesses, churches, organizations, and individuals can sign up to provide a free game or craft for families to enjoy, or make a contribution of easter eggs, candy, gift cards, or other items for prizes for the Adult Egg Hunt. Tag a business to get them involved!

Cost: Park programs are open to the public and free with a paid park entrance fee of $5 per person ages 13 and up; children 12 and under are always free! Park entry is free with the Texas State Park Pass. No need to register—just show up!

If you miss the hike at 10:00 a.m., there will be another Naturalist and Seek Hike at 2:00 p.m. at the South Sulphur Unit of Cooper Lake State Park.
Next weekend is the always so fun Easter Egg Hunt hosted by Tawakoni Volunteer Fire Dept. at the West Tawakoni City Park! Last year over 10,000 eggs were placed (and found VERY quickly)! Running from noon until all eggs are found at West Tawakoni City Park.
We are still in need of eggs and small items to stuff them with! if you wish to donate they can be dropped here at the Chamber, City of West Tawakoni or the Tawakoni Fire Dept.
