Lone Oak celebrates the season with its annual Oak Tree Festival on Saturday. Festivities will include plenty of games, bounce houses, Trunk or Treat, a DJ, vendors, food and more.

Admission is free and open to the general public.

Join us on Saturday, October 24th from 7-9pm at the Audie Murphy/American Cotton Museum for Night at the Museum! Haven an evening out with friends or a date night as you stroll around the museum while enjoying food, drinks and live music by Mike Castleberry. Tickets include heavy hors d'oeuvres, 2 drink tickets and an adult craft (while supplies last). VIP tickets will also include a behind the scenes tour of the museum collection. Regular tickets cost $20 and VIP tickets are $25. Must be 21 or older to attend. Happening in downtown Rockwall, the San Jacinto Plaza Music series is bringing you live music on Friday and Saturday nights through October!

Commerce Public Library's Adult Book Club meets on the last Thursday of each month!

For September, they're reading any book written by Jenny Lawson. Her books are nonfiction memoirs and extremely funny. The past few months have been such serious and depressing subject matter books, so it's time for a giggle break.
