Join us for a full day of fall fun in downtown Caddo Mills! The streets will be lined with vendors, live entertainment, kids’ activities, and of course—our Scarecrow Alley displays. Local businesses, families, and organizations will show off their creativity with handmade scarecrows decorating Main Street.🎨 What to Expect:• Artisan vendors, local boutiques, and food trucks• Scarecrow Alley showcase & photo ops• Kids zone with games and fall crafts• Live music and entertainment• Raffles, giveaways, and community booths🎃 Whether you’re shopping, strolling, or just soaking up the fall vibes, there’s something for everyone! It’s all about life during the early frontier days for children during an era where there was no tv or video games! There are going to be all sorts of games and activities for children to do as well as watch blacksmith demonstrations. Children will be able to make a craft, learn archery, play old-fashioned carnival style games, learn how to make rope, make campfire biscuits and home-made butter. They will also be able to play games like marbles and horseshoes and participate in sack races. These are just some of the activities and games that all of the children will be able to do.All of the activities will take place outside on the grounds of the Audie Murphy/American Cotton Museum. The event will take place on Saturday, November 1, 2025 from 10:00a.m. – 1:00p.m. The admission will be $7 per child (ages 4-15). One adult will be free with every child, after that $7 per adult. Fee also includes admission to the museum. Children must be accompanied by an adult. The Museum is located at 600 Interstate Highway 30 in Greenville, Texas. Holiday lights and décor will accentuate a lovely half-mile Heard nature trail. Your family will be enchanted by this nighttime hike through the woods. Also, you’ll get a glimpse of the Dinosaurs Live! exhibit along the trail. In keeping with the Heard’s role as a nature preserve, this light display is designed to enhance, rather than overpower, the sanctuary’s natural beauty.
