Caddo Mills is holding a Market Day and Vendor Fair on March 21st! Farmer's market items, as well as crafts, antiques, food vendors, etc will be available.

On March 20–21, the East Texas A&M Rodeo Team will proudly host its very first home rodeo in Commerce, Texas at the brand‑new Spur Expo. Collegiate rodeo teams from across the region will come together to compete in classic events such as Saddle Bronc Riding, Breakaway Roping, Tie‑Down Roping, Team Roping, Goat Tying, Barrel Racing, and of course, the crowd‑favorite Bull Riding. With the legendary Andrews Rodeo Company providing top‑tier stock, it’s shaping up to be an action‑packed weekend you won’t want to miss.
The excitement kicks off Friday morning at 10 a.m. with slack, followed by the first performance at 7 p.m. On Saturday, slack begins again at 10 a.m and wraps up with the highly anticipated short round Saturday night at 7 p.m.
We’d love for everyone to come out, experience the new Spur Expo, and cheer on your favorite Lions as they make history in their new home arena.
Tickets:
• Free for ETAMU students, faculty, staff, as well as children aged 13 and under.
• General admission tickets for the public are $12.
Create an artistic diorama featuring Peeps marshmallow candies that will be displayed at the library and voted on by the public. This contest is open to all ages. Prizes will be awarded to the winners.
When: Entry submission March 20th, 23rd & 24th. NOTE: submission not available on March 21st or 22nd. Pick up on April 6th.

If you have used and worn American flags that you're not sure what to do with, the Knights of Columbus Assembly 2139 is sponsoring a citywide American and Texas Flag Retirement Ceremony to properly dispose of these flags. You can drop off flags at Fire Stations 3 and 4, the Audie Murphy/American Cotton Museum and L-3Harris or you can take your flags to the Knight of Columbus on the day of the event. Guest cosplayers and comic creators will also be present.Food trucks will include Bakery Bros, Dairy Queen, and Lakeview Tacos.Vendors will include a diverse range, from Brigandry Games to Greenville Theatre Works, Wobble Paw Prints, and much more.
Carter Bloodcare will have blood drives in the Greenville area this month!

This program will talk about the history of the Declaration of Independence in 1776 and consider its revolutionary legacies in American life. Dr. Collini is an Asst. Professor of History at the University of Texas at Arlington where she researches and teaches about early American history, digital history and public history. March 21, Downtown Commerce from 2:00-4:00 pm, Taste of Commerce will be happening. What is the Taste of Commerce? Great question. 18 of our local restaurants will be providing a “taste” of their best menu items for ticket holders to try and then vote on the best Taste of Commerce. For your entertainment, CHS Jazz Band, The Jazz Cats, and ETAMU’s steel drum band, Panimation.
