The Sulphur Springs Senior Citizen Center is hosting a St. Patrick's Day Celebration Party on March 13. Event will include a pot luck dinner (feel free to bring a dish), trivia, and a costume contest. Starting at 11:00 a.m. at the Sulphur Springs Senior Citizen Center.
This annual event raises money for hunting education for kids, waterfowl protection and wetlands conservation. There are always lots of great items in both their raffle and live auction (hunting and shooting accessories, coolers, hunts, you name it), and the biggest assortment of Greenwing prizes (items for young hunters) you’ll see anywhere!

Altrusa is hosting a meaningful, hand-on service project helping girls around the world and you're invited to come help. Days for Girls is a worldwide organization working to eliminate the stigma and limitations associated with menstruation so that women and girls have improved health, education and livelihoods. The workday will be constructing washable kits that will be delivered to girls in places where supplies are scarce. They will welcome people who can sew and those who can't - there are plenty of jobs to do! Please RSVP at this link so they can plan lunch and work space.

The East Texas A&M University Department of Art is pleased to announce 2026 Annual Juried Student Art Exhibition. The exhibition will be on view from February 23 through April 10, 2026, at The University Gallery in the Art Building located at 2005 University Dr. in Commerce, Texas. An artist's reception will be held on March 17 from 5-7 pm, and awards will be announced at 5:30 pm.

Goats and gardening will be the subjects at this free, come-and-go event on Thursday, March 19th from 12:00 – 3:00 p.m. The Bonham Public Library, Dair-E-Does farm, and the Fannin County Master Gardeners will join us to discuss these topics.
