In this free class, you can learn about growing and caring for herbs, along with drying / harvesting tips and information on culinary and household uses for different herbs.

Meeting will be at the east end of the swim beach. Telescopes will be provided.

Sulphur Springs Senior Citizen Center is hosting free poker games each Tuesday at 11 a.m.

On Friday, Commerce City Hall is hosting a high-energy, interactive musical experience for all ages!

Elizabeth Vidos, better known as Lady Chops, is a talented percussionist who has performed in the hit Off-Broadway show STOMP and at the New Orleans Jazz Festival. Now she is bringing her skills to Commerce!

Kids will get to join the performance by playing hand drums, shakers, and other percussion instruments while learning basic rhythms and movement through the joy of music.

FREE and open to all ages.

The Hunt Memorial Hospital District will hold a board meeting at the former Commerce Emergency Room].

The public is encouraged to attend to learn more about plans Hunt Regional has for healthcare of our Commerce residents.

The ETAMU Planetarium has resumed its Wednesday Matinee shows.

This week, the 1 p.m. show will be "The Accidental Astronauts", followed by "Exoplanets: World of Wonder" at 2.

Admission is $5 per person, per show. Tickets are sold on site beginning at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday (there are no reservations for matinees).

Description:
Red, White, and Crafty is a hands-on, craft-focused summer program that invites young creators to explore art, tradition, and community through weekly creative projects. Meeting on Thursdays in July, each session features a new themed craft inspired by history, seasonal celebrations, and classic American pastimes. This program also connects to America250, encouraging participants to reflect on shared traditions and creative expression as we approach the 250th anniversary of the United States.

From festive decorations and collaborative art to sweet summer treats and fiber crafts, participants will enjoy a relaxed, fun-filled environment that encourages creativity, problem-solving, and self-expression, all in the historic setting of the Sam Bell Maxey House.
